Welcome to CCCS Junior High! As a school, our mission is to educate students by integrating academic excellence with a Christian worldview, equipping them to impact their world for Christ. Our desire in junior high is to fulfill that mission.
We challenge our students to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. We recognize that when our students arrive in 7th grade, they may feel uncertain about the changes awaiting them in junior high. They are faced with new experiences: changing classes, daily PE (and wearing PE clothes!), operating a combination lock, managing their daily classwork and homework, and even making new friends.
We wish to walk alongside you and your student, through each challenge and success, as they grow through these experiences. Each year, we raise the bar as we strive for academic excellence for each student. During the student’s 8th grade year, we work to ensure that our students are not only ready for but will flourish in high school.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Dear Grizzly Families,
It is both an honor and a privilege to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year at Calvary Chapel Christian School! I hope you and your family have enjoyed a refreshing and memorable summer. As I begin another year serving as principal, I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in the academic and spiritual growth of your children.
This year, our school theme is "Holy Boldness", based on Acts 4:31:
"And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness."
In a world that often challenges biblical truth, our prayer is that CCCS students will be equipped to stand firm in their faith and live with holy boldness. We want our students to boldly follow Christ, boldly share His love with others, and boldly live out God's Word in every area of their lives. This theme will be woven into our classrooms, chapels, athletic programs, outreach opportunities, and daily interactions as we encourage students to trust the Lord and courageously represent Him wherever He leads.
As always, CCCS remains committed to academic excellence while intentionally developing young men and women who love God and seek to impact the world for His glory. We believe that a strong Christian education goes beyond academics—it shapes character, strengthens faith, and prepares students to become effective leaders and servants of Christ.
I would like to extend a special welcome to all of our new families. Whether you are joining us from another school, another community, or even another country, we are excited to welcome you into the CCCS family. Our faculty, staff, students, and parents are eager to help you feel at home and experience what makes CCCS such a unique and Christ-centered community.
Our teachers and staff have been hard at work preparing for the year ahead. From professional development and curriculum planning to refining classroom procedures and strengthening instructional practices, every effort has been made to provide a learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. We are excited to begin this journey alongside each of our students.
At CCCS, God's Word remains at the center of everything we do. We believe that a strong relationship with Jesus Christ provides the foundation students need to navigate life's challenges and opportunities. Our Bible classes, chapels, and daily spiritual emphasis are designed to help students know God's truth, grow in their faith, and develop a biblical worldview. As students grow in their understanding of Scripture, our prayer is that they will also grow in confidence and boldness to live out their faith.
We are equally committed to helping students discover and develop the unique gifts God has given them. Through academics, athletics, fine arts, music, leadership opportunities, outreach ministries, and service projects, students are encouraged to pursue excellence while using their talents for God's glory. We are grateful for the many ways our students continue to excel and represent CCCS with distinction.
Our mission is to partner with parents in providing an excellent education grounded in a biblical worldview. We understand that educating a child is a shared responsibility, and we value the strong partnership between home and school. Together, we can create an environment where students are supported, challenged, encouraged, and equipped for success.
Above all, our desire is that every student would grow to love God, love people, and boldly share the hope of Christ with others. We want them not only to know God's Word but also to apply it faithfully in their daily lives. As they mature, may they become young men and women who demonstrate Christlike character, unwavering faith, and holy boldness in a world that desperately needs the Gospel.
I am excited about what God has in store for the upcoming school year and look forward to partnering with each of you as we provide an engaging, effective, and Christ-centered educational experience for your children. The CCCS staff remains committed to serving our students with professionalism, compassion, teamwork, and excellence. Together, we will continue to place the best interests of our students at the forefront of all we do.
